Call for Abstracts: TDWG 2026
The annual conference of Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG) is coming to Oslo, Norway, 21-25 September 2026, and the call for abstracts is now open. This year's conference theme - Research and Robot-ready Biodiversity Data Standards - reflects the community's focus on making biodiversity data more interoperable, machine-actionable, and fit for the challenges of modern research.
The program for TDWG 2026 will be composed of keynote presentations, symposia, discussion sessions, working meetings, workshops, and posters. The submissions should reflect what TDWG does and how data standards and biodiversity informatics contribute to our understanding and documentation of life on Earth.
Some of the sessions this year include: Responsible AI use in biodiversity research, Open Digital Curation and Standards, Biodiversity Metadata, Data Integration and Curation, Data Collection and Management, among others. See all TDWG 2026 sessions here →
