Ocean Biodiversity Information System (OBIS) is an intergovernmental activity under UNESCO aimed at collecting and integrating marine biodiversity data on a global scale. This session demonstrates the perspectives of data providers on publishing data using the Darwin Core standard, which is one of the fundamental activities of OBIS. Additionally, the session showcases the information systems and services being developed by the regional OBIS nodes, which interact directly with data providers and users.
