The Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF), particularly Targets 20 and 21, emphasizes the importance of capacity building and the availability of biodiversity data, including information and knowledge to address the biodiversity crisis. This session showcases capacity development actions and informatics solutions that empower individuals and institutions to actively contribute within the community and ends with a discussion to explore the challenges and future opportunities to expand capacity.
