SYM10 - Broadening Access, Community Science, Inclusion, Education, Outreach
Sort by:
Edited by Erica Krimmel

Natural history collections traditionally exclude local knowledge and community contributions, perpetuating a narrow, Western-centric view of biodiversity. This symposium strives to integrate diverse voices and knowledge systems, to foster a more inclusive and comprehensive understanding of biodiversity through community engagement and outreach.

Session organisers: Jeanette Pirlo, Carmi Thompson, Shamindri Tennakoon, Vanessa DelNavaz, Meghann Toner
