Natural history collections traditionally exclude local knowledge and community contributions, perpetuating a narrow, Western-centric view of biodiversity. This symposium strives to integrate diverse voices and knowledge systems, to foster a more inclusive and comprehensive understanding of biodiversity through community engagement and outreach.
