This session provides an overview of the Global Genome Biodiversity Network's (GGBN) resources for best practice and policies for running and using a biobank, focusing on the outcomes of the SYNTHESYS+ project (handbooks/guidelines on protocols and practices in biobanking , on policies around biobank use and on permit and contract terminology ). We also present updates on the GGBN Data Portal, a unified access point to biodiversity biobank sample data.
